SW DEALS : Software on Sale

I’m intrigued by that one. WF stuff is great and I was thinking that this might be ideal for when I’m working with emcees. Have you tried it in that sort of situation at all?

Answer is most likely yes, although this post references older Apple gear

I will test with my own new Macbook Pro, iPad Pro (2017), and no-name USB-C portable monitor

Does anyone know what the fx collection 3 price would become after buying pigments? I don’t have any arturia plugins yet. The v collection is just too much for me. I’m mostly looking for compressor and saturation plugins. I have more than enough (yeah right, i hear my wife thinking) hw synths but pigments looks very attractive…

$100 and VCollection will be $150

The FX Collection is really good. You’ll be happy with it. Primarily the only plugin FX i use. You’ll get compressors amongst many other good ones… that Moog Mini filter sounds wonderful.

looks like $10, it’s $229 on the website but $219 from the Upgrade Offers section in the Account menu…

$209 for me.

They must like me better.

They have some really great efx and the designer(s) has been in the game for quite a bit of time. Highly recommend them.

Reauthorization is, unfortunately as others have pointed out, a somewhat common practice (NI, Roli, etc). I haven’t had any issues with BFD3 in that regard but I understand why you’d be discouraged by such a practice.

Re is it stil being developed, BFD3 had not been touched by FXpansion or Roli for quite a while until inMusic took it over. Since then it has seen updates, albeit the software and library have always been great anyway. But the programme is of course still out there, a simple google search will lead to https://www.bfddrums.com/

Given the slashed prices I could imagine that they’re working on / close to releasing BFD4 — speculating on this purely due to the nature of the deep deep discount.

Thanks, these look cool, and will probably save me money I would have thrown away on glitchy pedals and the like.

I actually don’t know how to scrub Roland off my MacBook. They are Adobe-level annoying.

Dunno if Waves stuff is any good, but their Horizon bundle normally costs as much as an OB-X8.

Wow, was looking for a distressor-esq compressor and came across the Xtressor. Bought it and it is great. Didn’t see the nuke was free lol, so just added that to my cart and “bought” it. Don’t sleep on this one people!

How is V collection? I have a bunch of hardware synths already, so I don’t use many vst instruments, but it is on sale for me right now for $150. Really tempting, but not sure how much I would use it (it would have to sound good!).

Little-p a slim phatty emulation for free. No idea how it sounds, but I’d recon it’s far from the original. Doesn’t have to mean it’s bad though

No, I’ve not tried it but if I ever work with a vocalist again, I would definitely use Trackspacer subtly to temporarily clear a little space to allow the vocals to come through clearly.
