Just to follow up on my own comment, because curiosity killed the cat, and I am a huge fan of myself; I looked back into that old track, and I think I just did two different takes, recorded, and lined them up separately. Not a huge deal for recording, but obviously not good for live use.

You know, if they could have fixed that one thing with the Midi pattern change, then there would not have been much to complain about a relatively inexpensive, great-sounding, and compact synth like this.

Keep searching, the second hand pricing of these is a bit erratic from my experience. It’s well worth gearing hold of one if you can (for the right price), it’s a great synth. Yeah, like ANY other synth there are shortcomings but it’s not ‘bad gear’ Irrespective of what internet comedians say

for instance, i looked for Electribe EA-1 about 4 years, and about 3 years for FB-01 – and finally got them.

btw, i love that Bad Gear channel.
it convinced me to buy a Waldorf Rocket, which is super cool little machine.

To me the sequencer is just a way to demo sounds as the designers intended them to be used. Nothing more.
