well Elektron did confirm that they will fix some bugs so they might do some updates along with that… who knows…

Yeah surely bug fixes, but I am not sure they will include new features
Also these machines are quite expensive right now ( AR €1600) they know that a new firmware would not drive additional sales.
I haven’t taken my AR out it’s box in a little while…is it possible to select different samples on the pads from the fx track?

I love the Rytm MKII, however, right now in my setup the Digitakt is handling most of the heavy lifting.
I am so looking forward to an update for the Rytm, I swore I dreamt it happened.
Then I woke up, took the Rytm out of the closet, put it next to the Digitakt, then came on here to complain.

I dont understand why Elektron keeps us in the dark about whether they are going to update MKII boxes or not.
They’re not a huge company and could keep in touch with their clients.
Is it that hard to inform us about their update plans, limitations of the boxes etc?

Perhaps it’s to under-promise and over-deliver?
The biggest hurdle I see to updating the Analogs is that there are legacy products to consider.
Love Elektron and can’t wait to get that upgrade newsletter…

Hi, Elektron here, we’d like to introduce our new drum machine. It’s pretty limited right now, but it’ll be boss in five years once we’ve banged out a few updates, promise. Also, competitors, please don’t steal all these cool update ideas we’re telling everyone about years in advance of implementing them…
Yeah, that’ll have the gear flying off the shelves.

Always hope - remember the last unexpected Octatrack update when everybody said it was dead OS wise

Octatrack firmware update was a must and linked to the release of the anniversary edition and black version of the OT
There was also no anniversary celebration for
the Analog this year.

Now that Cenk has left the building, AR and A4 are shit boxes. It’s like all the magic left with him. You can no longer use them as they were.
Summary
But a 2nd LFO and a BW Filter will be a welcomed addition and it will happen.
