My immediate answer is GAS: POP.
instrumental hip hop. Works in any mood
Well… if driving (where I do most of my listening) that might make me nod off.
Yeah, for me, it’s like nodding off and coming round again on a plane. As for my own answer, it would be some Autechre or some Beatles
The fridge buzzing
bedroom techno, or any other type of skung.
“bad” audio quality, compressed, resampled, unimportant.
music that doesnt want your attention.
I listen to talking people, but don‘t really pay attention. I most like it when they have some quirk about their voice/speech, like dry mouth, smacking lips or odd dialects.
Some recent favourites:
Intentional ASMR is bullshit though, it has to be unintentional.
My dog snoring.
randomly trying music that i downloaded some time ago but have not listened yet.
Any ambient album.
Cortini’s Avanti, if I were to choose one.
Or my own noise
George Michael ( i’m dead serious )
Silence!
I never listened much to Cortini but checked out that album on the way home and really enjoyed it. Seems on the edge of not being purely ambient not that I care to split hairs over such things.
That’s usually the time when I listen to my own music
Yes, maybe. How would you label this?
Anyway, it’s really what I love these days…
Noises, melody, no beat. Totally my thing
Local college FM stations.
Usually some Philip Glass. He also just has a huge catalogue so it’s easy to not get bored.
