Looks shopped ^^
please no!
I have exactly enough room in my rack for one Elektron hybrid analogue/digital drum machine and have no desire to own/play an a4 âkeytarâ!
what would be the point the a4 has mini keys
Mini keys are more for inputting into the sequencer and little noodleâs. 1 octave isnât realy enough to âplayâ unless you can manage the octave buttons at the same time.
Anyhoo it says under the picture that its photoshop.
I guess if it has a keyboard it wonât have the mini keys and instead have 8 motorized faders.
Or just a bigger screen and more knobs.
The picture âglitchâ thing happened again there. Im certain itâs a Monomachine. Iâm not anticipating a Mk III model so looks to me as though itâs just an old image that some times loads up. Then again, I only had about 3 seconds to look at it before the A4 image replaced it.
Itâs not a glitch, The silver box your seeing is just a monomachine. The photo of the street has a monomachine at the bottom. WHen the pic loads before the a4 picture you see otherwise its covered, thats all it is.
You know what I am starting to think the key logo thing isnât a keybaord but more like an MC202 type deal. maybe it really is a dedicated sequencer.
I donât see a keyboard at all when looking at the advert. I see a sideways âEâ
While a lot of these ideas are very cool. A good portion of them I donât see selling more than a few hundred units tops.
I get this occacisonally⌠itâs a know bug yeah? Is there a known fix?
thereâs a thread on the old site that I got the compressor gain thing from (and it can be on any track with audio playing, not just 8/master like some said), and there are people thinking all sorts of reasons, from static build up on the jack/op amp, software bugs, and at least one person said Elektron replaced their logic board over it o.O The last is why I contacted Elektron since my warranty is almost up (end of this year)
Yeah, that was meâŚthey told me they replaced the logic board. Problem still occursâŚ
Come on guys⌠itâs OBVIOUSLY keys
The little logo at the bottom of that flyer is 100 % representing keys. No reason for em to mess about there. Makes sense from all angles. Neck firmly placed on line from now. Keys it is.
i think it will look like this gaps closer together. the top one is how i think it will be layed out. A drum 6?
Some serious code breaking skills on show there.
Come on guys⌠itâs OBVIOUSLY keys
By the logo at the bottom it is obvious that the white things are the clubs from a double kick drum pedal.
So⌠we will get a drum machine with two analog kicks =)
Edit: couldnât embed an image for some reason. Here is a link to an image for comparison =)
drumin8tor
Theyâre called âbeatersâ

You are right with that particular picture, that makes sense now, but I had this happen again and itâs definitely the image I saw first time around when I posted and NOT just the monomachine sitting on the street that I saw the second and third time around.
The image is almost entirely top down like the other product images but the machine is lying at maybe a 30 degree angle with its right side higher. It could still be a Monomachine of course but it is not fitting in with the âstreet viewâ image like the other Monomachine image you are referring to. It does still look like a Monomachine to be fair though in both split second viewings something did seem ever so slightly different.
Anyway, donât want to come across as being on the wind up or anything, only writing what Iâve seen! I just hope itâs not a keyboard version let down of an announcement.
