This is a bunch of beats that I did on the Rhythm. I’ve also got all the samples linked in the description if you’re interested in that sort of thing.

Surprised no one shared the Dataline video where he absolutely show what these Circuits can do!

Yeah he killing it, happy to see him with circuits

It’s dope. But who knows what he’s doing?

This had its own topic. We like Dataline around these parts.

Anyone know if there is a way to chain Projects?

Not sure if you can chain, but if you hold shift and press the next Project, it plays instantly. Rather than waiting for the end of the bar or whatever.

If you go into project view while the sequencer is running and select the project you want to go to, it will wait for your pattern to finish before switching projects.

Would be nice if you could chain projects. This would be good way to get past the 16 scene limit.

16 scenes is more than enough imo

For me, 16 is usually fine. But I’d definitely prefer more, especially since you have to page down on the mixer page to get to track panning anyway. There’s already a spot where it feels like they should be.

Another thing I’d like is if you could set the number of times a scene repeats. You can sort of do that with pattern lengths and speed but it’s not a great solution if you’re using all the tracks.

I have a solution for you!

If you use an unused midi track to create empty patterns at different time signatures, then you can use these patterns in your scenes to force the other patterns (Synth 1, Synth 2, Drums etc.) to play multiple times before changing to the next scene.

For example, if you create three empty patterns on MIDI 1 at 1/4, 1/8 and 1/16, you can use these to force the other patterns in the scene to play 4 times, 2 times or only once respectively before moving to the next scene. This is because the scenes don’t change until the longest pattern (in this case the pattern you’ve selected on MIDI 1) has finished playing.

You could even chain up four empty midi patterns playing at 1/4, to force the other tracks to play 16 times before changing scenes. Seems like a really useful way to build up a complete song, by defining the number of bars each scene will play for.

Yeah, that’s what I mean about using pattern lengths and speeds. It works but not if I need all the tracks. I’ve just got the Rhythm so there aren’t dedicated MIDI tracks

Watching Cenk perform has never been about understanding what an instrument can do, cause I have absolutley no idea what he’s doing. I just enjoy his work cause he’s a great musician that happens to publish Youtube content.

Most synth influencers aren’t particuarly interesting musicians, so it’s easier to digest what’s going on when they work an instrument cause the music doesn’t really distract me. At best, they provide solid production values but a track that’s actually swayed me? That’d be from Cenk, Jogging House, R Beny and I’m sure I’m forgetting someone here. But it’s a short list nonetheless.
