This one is fantastic and supports a lot of different consoles (NES, SNES, N64, Sega Master, Sega Megadrive, PS1, etc.): https://www.recalbox.com/
You just need a Raspberry Pi and a compatible controller (e.g. XBox, PS3, PS4).

A lot of great memories in this thread. Hard to pick only ten, but I would say these are the ones I spent the most time with:
what was your favorite California game? I think mine was either footbag or flying disc.
Reading the thread it seems we need platform specific and decade specific lists of our top 30 games
Iām not even 40 but I remember games on a schneider computer system where you had to read in a real tape for 20 min before you could even play ā¦.
Turrican 2 is a great game, just not a GOAT for me. The soundtrack however is up there with the best! I play Desert Rocks all the time on my synths
Ah yes; thatās another Iāve actually played more than a little.
In no particular order:
Metal Gear Solid 3
GTA VC, SA, 5
Dragon Age: Origins
The Last Of Us 2
Alter Ego
Under A Killing Moon
Heavy Rain, Fahrenheit
Nier
Beatmania
The Witcher 3
yessss
as an aside i stuck to the 10 in my post from my childhood really but i really have to give a shout out to Journey. i think itās definitely a top fave of all time. i played that game for months on end and found the multi-player interactions so unique, almost romantic at times, like iād met someone special. and then in the early release there were a lot of bugs and you could sneak through the cracks and go explore the outworld behind the gameworld for hours. it was so fun trying to convince people to follow you into those weird depths
Thereās really too much to list, but hereās a non definitive, in constant flux top 10:
Phantasy Star Online (dreamcast)
Advance Wars - Dual Strike (ds)
Dragonās Dogma (x360)
Fire Emblem Three Houses (switch)
Control (ps4)
Dead Space (1-2, x360)
Bioshock (x360)
Silent Hill 2 (ps2)
Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan (ds - and I canāt read japanese, it was - and certainly still is - that good)
Yuppie Psycho (switch)
Nostalgic award goes to: Sonic the Hedgehog (50hz megadrive because 50hz soundtrack > 60hz :3)
Diablo 2
Portal 2
Tony Hawk 2
Warcraft 3
Ori and the Will of the Whisps
Inside
Limbo
Machinarium
Morrorwind
Fifa 98
In no orderā¦.
FF7
Civ 2
Sim City 2000
Half Life
Uncharted 2
Tomb Raider 2
GTA III/VC
Golden eye
Counter strike 1.4-1.6
Rollercoaster tycoon
Still one of my favorite games and some of my favorite game music!
Very hard to pick only ten. Left out all the Spectrum, C64 and Amiga games
Doom 2 (PC)
Micromachines (PS)
Starcraft 2 (PC)
Worms (PC and PS)
Civilisation (PC)
Wipeout (PS)
SSX (PS2)
Rockband (PS)
Wolfenstein Enemy Territory (PC)
CSGO (PC)
Footbag for me. On C64 I was pretty close to the record in Zzap64
And many many more
flying disc definitely had its charm but footbag was downright addicting, I remember that muchā¦ and the animation in it was pretty funny too.

Man yāall making me want to play the two Portals sitting untouched in my library.
Incredibly tough though first place is easyā¦
2-10 in no order:
Thatās 11 actually. Whoops.
